THE LEGENDS OF RACING EXHIBIT FOR 2012

It's been nearly 40 years ago that Newton's own "Kansas John Wiebe" drove this dragster.  We have a historic opportunity to bring the original (restored) dragster back to Newton for the Downtown Car Show on May 5th.  It's being trailered in from Washington State by Don Love, the owner.

We need help in arranging funding to do this.  Donations for any amount will help.

We've already raised about a 1/3 of what is needed so we can't stop now!

NEWTON DOWNTOWN CAR SHOW

Newton will be hosting The 8th Annual Downtown Car Show on Saturday - May 5,  from 8:00 am til 4:00 pm.  MainStreet will be blocked off at 5th Street up to 7th Street with Street Vendors, Food Vendors and lots of great Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles.

We have more than 30 Classes this year and also lots of prizes.

• First 130 Car Show entries will receive Dash Plaques.
